Tualatin Valley Symphony
We look forward to a successful fourth season under the baton and musical direction of Mark Perlman!
Our third concert of the season will be presented on:
Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.
This concert is this season's Family Concert, featuring light favorites for all ages.
Victoria Drozdova will be the piano soloist for Saint-Saëns' "Carnival of the Animals" and the orchestra will be premiering "Dance of the Monsters Under the Bed" by local composer Arthur Breur. There are two favorite Rossini overtures, "The Barber of Seville" and "William Tell". and Paul Dukas tells the story of what happened to "The Sorcerer's Apprentice." Also, the orchestra will be performing the "Procession of the Fat Ox at a Paris Carnival" from Blanc.
There will also be a musical instrument petting zoo - it's a chance to see, touch, and try out an orchestral instrument!
Welcome to Our New Venue!
Our performance and rehearsal venue has changed — we are now at the Living Savior Lutheran Church, on the corner of SW Boones Ferry Road and SW Sagert Street, in Tualatin. The new location is only about a half mile north of our former venue (Tualatin Presbyterian Church).
